I found my dream homestay in the Danba Tibetan area

This summer, I embarked on a graduation trip with a few close friends, setting our sights on western Sichuan! We arrived at the Danba Jiarong Tibetan Village on Friday evening for our stay. For safety, my friend chose the only five-diamond homestay in Jiarong Tibetan Village—Yake Cloud House. Though it's called a homestay, the experience was akin to a hotel. We booked a suite with two bedrooms and a living room—one with a king bed and the other with twin beds—fully equipped. Breakfast was served as a buffet, but if that wasn’t your thing, you could also enjoy a bowl of beef noodles! Beyond that, the scenery here was truly stunning! Initially, we only treated this as a stopover, not expecting much in terms of picturesque views. But! Waking up to misty mountain vistas and the layered Tibetan village architecture in the distance, rich with ethnic charm, made for incredible photo opportunities. The viewpoint wasn’t far, but due to time constraints, we skipped it. Still, the staff kindly took some free photos for us! Oh, and the place even has cats and dogs! The little white dog was adorable and super friendly, not shy at all—a dream for dog lovers!!! If it’s your first time in western Sichuan and you’re passing through Danba with an overnight stay, I highly recommend this homestay.
