Dandong Jinjiangshan Park - Dandong's Largest Park

The Anti-American Aid Korea Memorial Hall is located at the foot of Jinjiang Mountain. The main part of Jinjiang Mountain is Dandong's largest park, Jinjiangshan Park. Jinjiangshan Park was built in the early 20th century by the Japanese. After several expansions and renovations, it has become the size it is today. The park's gate is antique and exquisitely carved, immediately catching the attention of visitors and inviting them to enter the mountain. Jinjiangshan Park combines mountains and water. The trails built on the mountain connect the scenic spots in the park, all the way to the pavilion on the top of the mountain. From the top, you can see the entire Dandong, with the Yalu River like a green ribbon, and North Korea on the opposite bank. The scenery is magnificent and picturesque, worthy of the name Jinjiangshan. At the foot of the mountain, the lotus pond reflects the flowers, plants, trees, pavilions, and buildings around the pond. Compared with the magnificent scenery on the top of the mountain, this pond gives people a sense of smallness and elegance. In addition to the natural scenery, Jinjiangshan Park also has the Dandong Martyrs Cemetery, where you can pay tribute to the revolutionary martyrs, and the Dandong Zoo, where you can interact with various animals. In this coastal city at the starting point of the northern border, there is such a park that combines mountains and water, and integrates nature and culture. This is truly a blessing for the people. Jinjiangshan Park is not far from Dandong Railway Station. After leaving the park, I came to Dandong Railway Station, said goodbye to Dandong, and my next stop was Shenyang, the heart of Liaoning.
