Shiqiao Town, Danzhai County, Guizhou Province

Located between Kaili and Danzhai, Shiqiao Town is the home of the national intangible cultural heritage of "handmade paper making." Shiqiao handmade paper is a traditional ethnic craft unique to Shiqiao Village, Nangao Township. It has been passed down since the mid-Tang Dynasty, with a history of more than 2,000 years. The traditional craftsmanship is well preserved, and it is known as the "living museum" and "living fossil" of ancient papermaking. Nangao Township, Shiqiao Village is also known as the "Hometown of Chinese National Paper."
