Sydney Darling Harbour New Year's Fireworks

Originally, it rained heavily at 8 PM, and I thought the 8:30 PM fireworks would be canceled. However, after checking Instagram, I found out they were still on, so I hurried over. Luckily, the rain stopped just in time! The Darling Harbour fireworks show starts every Saturday at 8:30 PM and lasts about 6-7 minutes. You can check the official website or Darling Harbour's Instagram to see if the fireworks will be held that week, so you don't make a wasted trip! Location: 📍Pyrmont Bridge. It's a great spot for photos, and you don't need to arrive early to secure a spot. I arrived about 15 minutes early, and it wasn't too crowded. Avoid the crowded areas below Darling Harbour; the bridge offers a better view! I found the section just after stepping onto the bridge to be the best, as there are no flagpoles blocking the view (I went too far back and had flagpoles in my view 🥹). To capture the effect in my first photo, don't stand too close to the bridge railing. Stand back from the railing and the crowd for better shots! Remember to use editing apps to remove crowds from your photos, haha. A friend mentioned that you can dine at nearby restaurants and enjoy the fireworks while eating.
