Who doesn't love Xiling Snow Mountain?

🚗 Transportation: We drove from Chengdu. Note that it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the cable car entrance. Pack light and bring less luggage. 🎫 Tickets: You can buy tickets in the live stream for CNY 199 (admission + first cable car ticket), ski tickets for CNY 99/person, and second cable car tickets for CNY 99/person. We decided to go at the last minute and bought tickets on-site for CNY 368 (admission + first cable car ticket + ski ticket). 🏨 Hotel: We stayed at Xiling Snow Mountain Snowflake Hotel. The wooden cabin hotel in the photos is the hotel next to Snowflake Hotel, called Scandina Resort Hotel. You can walk over to take photos. Snowflake Hotel, Maple Leaf Hotel, Sunshine Holiday Hotel, Scandina Hotel, and Yingxue Hotel are all very close to each other. They are all halfway up the mountain, and you need to take the first cable car to get to the hotel. You need to go up the mountain early in the afternoon, as the cable car closes at 4–5 pm. 🍽 Restaurant: There are many places to eat in Yingxue Square, including many chain brands. We had Shouchailu Roast Duck for dinner, which cost about CNY 100 per person. (We brought a lot of snacks, instant noodles, self-heating hot pots, and water, which were very heavy to carry up the mountain. We found that everything is sold on the mountain and is not expensive. Soda water is CNY 3, and instant noodles are CNY 8.) 📸 Photos: The entrance to the wooden cabin hotel is near the stone sign of Yingxue Hotel. Walk inside and keep walking up. There is a view every few steps, so be sure to take photos. 💄 Suggestions: We suggest wearing bright lipstick, exaggerated or funny accessories, and sunglasses. 🌨 Remember to get up early in the morning. It usually snows at night, and the view is most beautiful when the sun comes out at 7–8 am. 🏥 Medical: There is a medical room on the mountain, but there are no doctors or medicines. During special periods, be sure to bring enough medicine. It is very cold outside, but very hot and dry inside, so it is easy to get sick.
