I can't express my love for Moganshan in words. I always discover new beauty every time I visit. In the past, I always thought that summer was the most beautiful season in Mogan Mountain, but now I am pleasantly surprised to find that Mogan Mountain in autumn and winter is equally breathtakingly beautiful! The orange-red Metasequoia and the yellow sycamore trees form a beautiful landscape, and the bright red maple leaf season is about to arrive. Find a weekend with good weather and be sure to go to Moganshan for a walk. This time I chose the Dakeng Scenic Area as my hiking route, which was both relaxing and fun! The whole journey is about 4-5 kilometers, and my daughter can complete it independently. You can enjoy diverse vegetation along the way and overlook the beautiful scenery of the entire scenic area. It is recommended to enter from the Wansongling entrance, enter from the south and exit from the north, which is easier to walk. In addition, the section from Dakeng Station to where Chairman Mao stayed is also a good place to take photos. ⚠️: If you are traveling with children, just take the southern route and return the same way. It is very kid-friendly, pet-friendly and novice travellers. 🚦Transportation: We drove to the scenic spot by ourselves, and navigated directly to Moganling after going up the mountain from Houwu. Make an appointment in advance at a cafe, restaurant or accommodation in the scenic area (they will help you register your license plate), and then you can drive directly up the mountain. 🎫Tickets: 80 yuan/person for on-site purchase and 70 yuan for online purchase (free for children under 6 years old and free for local residents of Deqing on non-holidays). 📍Address: After entering the scenic area, drive and navigate to [Dakeng Scenic Area]. If you take the scenic area bus, get off at Dakeng Station and walk about 10 minutes to arrive. Scenic area bus: There are buses at various scenic spots in the scenic area, which is very convenient. It is recommended to avoid riding during peak holiday periods, as the bus is usually quite empty. ⚠️Notes: • Try to avoid peak travel times! There are fewer tourists on weekdays and holidays, and there is no need to queue for scenic area buses. Don't go to crowded places during national holidays. • If you are not a good driver, it is recommended that you take the scenic area bus up and down the mountain, because the place where two buses meet on the mountain road is relatively narrow. • When hiking, the weather has a huge impact on the scenery!
