Yancheng - Dongtai Huanghai Forest Park

Huanghai Forest Park is located at No. 8 Hualin Road, Coastal Economic Zone, Dongtai City, Yancheng City. It was built in 1965 and is the largest artificial ecological forest in the East China Plain and the largest artificial forest park along the coast of China. With a forest coverage rate of over 90%, the park is home to 628 species of plants, 342 species of birds, and nearly 30 species of mammals. The park is rich in negative oxygen ions and is a "natural oxygen bar." The park features a 13.1 km Metasequoia corridor, where you can take a stroll and enjoy the greenery; a 1.5 km forest train that takes you through the forest; a 2 km aerial walkway, suspended above the wetland, where you can overlook the wetland corridor; a 17,700 square meter misty forest, where you can interact with squirrels and experience a misty spa; and a 40-meter-high Forest Eye Observation Tower, with a glass observation deck and a sky mirror, where you can overlook the forest. The OUTDOOR MIX Adventure Park offers adventure activities, and the children's camp consists of a forest memory area, an exploration area, and other children's play areas, as well as science education programs such as forest classes.
