Forget the Burj Al Arab, this is the best luxury hotel in Dubai

Lana_Dorchester Collection_Dubai_Skydock Junior Suite: I am about to leave Dubai and write about the two hotels I stayed in during this trip. Let’s start with The Lana from Dorchester Collection. I have said before that Dorchester Collection is the most Sophisticated of all European hotel chains in my mind, bar none. The employees are good-looking and their communication is very professional (please note that "professional" here is a neutral word and should not be understood as "sincere and honest service attitude"). I hesitated for a long time before checking in because the various room types shown on the official website were far from my expectations. The two hotels in London, Rome and Paris that I stayed in before all had room types that made me fall in love at first sight; but the Dubai hotel didn't have any of them, which really surprised me. After all, the Dubai hotel is so new, and the city of Dubai itself is also seeking novelty and uniqueness. The Lana’s rooms are only those above the Duplex Suite that are eye-catching. Considering the cost-effectiveness, book a basic room directly. Even though we checked in at 11am on the day of check-in, we were still upgraded four levels to Sky Marina Junior Suite, which is one of the rooms with the best view of the Burj Khalifa. If you have high requirements for privacy, then this is the best room type, because many suites at The Lana are very close to the rooms opposite, and you have to draw the curtains. On the contrary, this Junior Suite does not have so many problems. The main color of the room is consistent with that of the hotel, which is pink. The interior style is mainly based on Parisian style in the Middle East. It has to be said that the hotel’s good intentions paid off. Having stayed in so many hotels in Dubai and even the Middle East, this may be the only one that has successfully created an overall Parisian style. The most eye-catching part is naturally the bathroom. From the mirror and lamp design to the placement of the bathtub, it is obviously not in Middle Eastern style. The highlight of the bedroom is the floor-to-ceiling mirror next to the desk, which adds points to the room in terms of space and light. Moreover, the door leading to the Foyer can be closed, which is equivalent to having two layers of doors away from the public area, and the sound insulation effect is very good. White marble is used extensively for interior door frames and desk tops (should it be white marble? There is no specific verification). The control over the details of the overall construction is absolutely leading by Middle Eastern standards. I have to mention the bedding here. It is Frette (I only saw the pillowcase, it is Frette, I guess the bedding should be a full set). The thread count is estimated to be 800. The mattress is a typical European soft bed, which is extremely comfortable!
