Lovrjenac Fort, a Star Wars filming location!

Lovrjenac Fort, also known as the Gibraltar of the Adriatic, served as one of the filming locations for Star Wars. This medieval fortress was built to defend against invasions by the Venetian Republic. Its outer walls are 12 meters thick, while the inner walls are only 60 centimeters thick. Constructed entirely from large rocks, the fort was primarily used for military purposes, protecting Dubrovnik. Admission to the fort costs €15, but if you purchase the city walls combo ticket, it’s only €40. It’s definitely worth visiting and exploring!
