One thing that makes Watu Bella Beach unique is that it resides between big coral reefs. Somehow, it looks secluded and gives a nice atmosphere for those who look for a peace and those who want to eradicate stresses. Not to mention the accessibility is considered a little bit difficult, so not many people are seen on site. You don’t have to do anything significant there. It can be as simple as sitting on the beach while listening to the sound of the waves. Even the warm atmosphere of the sea makes it more comfortable for relaxation. The only thing to know is that this beach is a little bit far to reach from the capital of West Sumba Regency (Waikabubak City). #summervacation#beachvacation#urbanexplorer

It is free, so both locals and outsiders can come anytime and as often as they want without concerning the fee! #summervacation#beachvacation#urbanexplorer

Kerewei Beach, is similar to a gulf actually. What makes it different than other beaches is definitely its long shoreline with its white sand and big waves. With those characteristics, you can do lots of things there especially beach walking. The white sand has a soft texture, so it won’t hurt anyone’s feet. There is no need to wear footwear to walk on it! It is better to come either in the morning or afternoon. This way, you can avoid the heat of the sun during exploration. Surfing is popular thing to do in Kerewei Beach. The waves are big so the sea is suitable to enjoy such challenging sports. One thing that you should know is that there is no facility at all on site. That means you can’t rent a surfing board or buy foods at all. This won’t be an issue, though. You can carry your own surfing board and bring some snacks when visiting the beach! #summervacation#beachvacation#urbanexplorer

Ogi Waterfall is located in Faobata Village, Bajawa District, Ngada Regency of East Nusa Tenggara Province. You can reach this beautiful waterfall by Motorbike. Would make it more interesting and adventurous as the air’s atmosphere along the curvy road will create a stunning refreshment and also many photography places on the way there, one of them may show you the boasting Ebulobo volcano from the distance. It is around 7 kilometers away to the east side of Bajawa city to get here. The waterfall lies quite near with the road, and you need to start to walk through the dirt path of ricef ields and concrete lines alongside the sewer. Around 900 meters walking from the first point to walk of the greenish rice field lead you toward the waterfall. During the day you would encounter some friendly local farmers with their planting activities, and it would be one of the pleasant feeling before the waterfall. Soon as you close to the waterfall, more roaring sound of the abundant water discharge would be heard. A mass of water comes out from a slit of a line of a hill, then falls down massively in persistent speed, creating a gust over the air, blowing off water particles everywhere. In one full year, the water discharge has been massive and persistent debit of water, including in the beginning of the dry season. #summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer

Poco Ranaka is famous as hiking adventure for the tourist or nature lovers. To get adventure is easy to hike with many splendid views on the way up; and Ranaka is a fantastic bird watching spot with species like the changeable hawk-eagle, the bare-throated whistler, the chestnut-backed thrush, and the Flores minivet. The endemic Wallace’s hanging parrot has been documented but some of the other endemics might be found here as well. At the summit of Poco Ranaka there is a chapel, which is a popular place of pilgrimage among the locals. An asphalt road has been built by the local government some time ago but it is in a desolate condition and, even though you could go all the way to the chapel by motorbike, it is better and much nicer to walk. Nice views will open up along the trail. On the top, the chapel welcomes you. The trail ends at 2,286 meters above sea level. Unfortunately, the scenery from the top is obscured by tall, thick bushes. #summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer

The unique characteristic of Siata Mauhalek Waterfall is related to the appearance itself. Instead of forming a one water discharge, it comes with lots of it. The reason is the water hits the rocky cliff beneath it, creating tens of water discharges. It indeed looks so unique and beautiful! No wonder, most visitors would enjoy photography once they arrive at the site. That means they take pictures of the waterfall itself or take selfies in front of it. You may take advantage of the site to enjoy relaxation. Thanks to the peaceful environment. Somehow, the nuance helps everyone to get rid both stresses and boredom. They do not even need to do anything. It is as simple as sitting by the waterfall and enjoying the nuance. One thing, it is better not to get too close to the waterfall. Otherwise, you would get wet due to the splash of water. The only disappointment is, perhaps, the absence of facilities and accommodations. That means you won’t find any toilets or eateries there. What you can find is only natural attractions including shady trees, majestic waterfall, clean environment, and refreshing air. #summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer

Fulan Fehan Valley is located in Manuaman Village and belongs to South Atambua Sub-District. You can find several beautiful spots to visit when exploring Fulan Fehan Valley. The most popular one is definitely the green savanna that comes with a stunning background of Lakaan Mountain and breezy atmosphere. Once arriving at that area, you can simply enjoy relaxation or rest for a while before continuing the adventure. It is also recommended to carry a camera, so you can collect beautiful pictures of the nature including trees, grasses, and much more. The next allure of Fulan Fehan Valley is none other than fabulous animals like horses and cows. Even watching these animals is quite soothing for everyone, especially for animal lovers. However, it is considered difficult to approach these animals. That means you can only watch them from afar and take pictures of them as well. #summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer
