TANGGEDU WATERFALL - EAST NUSA TENGGARA

This waterfall has bluish and clear water, its location is far enough to keep it from the hands of ignorant humans. One of the areas that has amazing natural beauty is in East Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara. The district has extraordinary natural tourism potential. East Sumba has hills that will make you stunned, besides that, don't doubt the water tourism. One of the must-visit water attractions when in East Sumba is Tanggedu Waterfall. Tanggedu Waterfall is predicted to be the Grand Canyon of East Sumba, because the location of the waterfall is between very beautiful cliffs. The natural panorama is very beautiful and calming, the right place to relax for a moment to enjoy nature and get away from the noise of the city. However, the location of Tanggedu Waterfall is not suitable for bringing children or the elderly, because you have to do trekking which is quite far and steep. The location of Tanggedu Waterfall is in Tanggedu Village, Kanatang District, East Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The route to Tanggedu Waterfall if moving from the center of Waingapu will take about 1.5 to 2 hours drive. However, the road conditions are smooth and easy to walk, and you will see cherry blossoms blooming along the way. The cherry blossoms will grow beautifully around September to November. So the journey that will be passed is not too boring. One thing that makes Watu Bella Beach unique is that it resides between big coral reefs. Somehow, it looks secluded and gives a nice atmosphere for those who look for a peace and those who want to eradicate stresses. Not to mention the accessibility is considered a little bit difficult, so not many people are seen on site. You don’t have to do anything significant there. It can be as simple as sitting on the beach while listening to the sound of the waves. Even the warm atmosphere of the sea makes it more comfortable for relaxation. With those characteristics, you can do lots of things there especially beach walking. The white sand has a soft texture, so it won’t hurt anyone’s feet. There is no need to wear footwear to walk on it! It is better to come either in the morning or afternoon. This way, you can avoid the heat of the sun during exploration. Surfing is popular thing to do in Kerewei Beach. The waves are big so the sea is suitable to enjoy such challenging sports. One thing that you should know is that there is no facility at all on site. That means you can’t rent a surfing board or buy foods at all. This won’t be an issue, though. Ogi Waterfall

Ogi Waterfall is located in Faobata Village, Bajawa District, Ngada Regency of East Nusa Tenggara Province. You can reach this beautiful waterfall by Motorbike. Would make it more interesting and adventurous as the air’s atmosphere along the curvy road will create a stunning refreshment and also many photography places on the way there, one of them may show you the boasting Ebulobo volcano from the distance. It is around 7 kilometers away to the east side of Bajawa city to get here. The waterfall lies quite near with the road, and you need to start to walk through the dirt path of ricef ields and concrete lines alongside the sewer. Around 900 meters walking from the first point to walk of the greenish rice field lead you toward the waterfall. During the day you would encounter some friendly local farmers with their planting activities, and it would be one of the pleasant feeling before the waterfall. Soon as you close to the waterfall, more roaring sound of the abundant water discharge would be heard. A mass of water comes out from a slit of a line of a hill, then falls down massively in persistent speed, creating a gust over the air, blowing off water particles everywhere. Poco Ranaka is famous as hiking adventure for the tourist or nature lovers. An asphalt road has been built by the local government some time ago but it is in a desolate condition and, even though you could go all the way to the chapel by motorbike, it is better and much nicer to walk. Nice views will open up along the trail. On the top, the chapel welcomes you. The trail ends at 2,286 meters above sea level.
