↓As the city of art, Edmonton doesn't feel like a major oil town in western Canada, or the capital of Alberta. The modern new city and the retro old city collide to create a unique charm. It is a city that can be both dynamic and quiet, with a natural environment that makes it very livable. Every summer, a cowboy festival is held here, where tourists from all over the world dress in cowboy costumes and celebrate with endless beer and food! Edmonton is the capital of Alberta and is known as one of the sunniest places in the world. It has a continental climate, with cold, dry winters and cool summers, long hours of sunshine, and large temperature differences between day and night. It is like a second- or third-tier city, not very prosperous, with few entertainment facilities, but with the lowest shopping tax, relatively cheap housing prices, a well-developed and regulated used car market, and excellent air quality, making it a great place to live. What impressed me most was that even when it rained, it stopped after 1-2 hours. In June and July, the sun rises before 5 am, and the night comes late, with the sun setting around 11 pm, making it feel like life is a bonus.
