We came to the fishing port of Essaouira! The market is open every day at the fishing port of Essaouira, and seafood caught that day is lined up every day. There are rare fish such as sharks and rays that are lined up in the market, so it's fun just to look at them. There are also shops that serve marinated fish in snack sizes for alcohol, and shops that crush sea urchins on the spot. It is open all day, but early in the morning, fresh fish is lined up, so be sure to go early in the morning.
