Falls Creek winter sunset: cold and beautiful

As the sun began to set in the evening, the sky over Falls Creek was dyed a brilliant color. Orange, red and purple are intertwined to form a cool and sad picture. The afterglow of the setting sun shines on the red soil, adding a touch of warmth to this cold land, but this warmth seems so short-lived.
