Puffins, Cliffs, and Mykines Island

#summervacay Honestly, Mykines Island was like stepping into a nature documentary. It's the most remote of the islands, but worth every step. Imagine wild cliffs, endless green hills, and yes an insane amount of puffins just hanging out beside the walking paths. The hike to the lighthouse is steep, windy at times, but every step is breathtaking. It's just so quiet, raw and untouched (in the best way possible). There aren't any cars, no noise, just me, the birds and the sea. If you visit the Faroe Islands, you can't NOT visit Mykines. Just check the ferry or helicopter schedule ahead of time, because weather can change here quickly. #thingstodo #travel #faroeisland
