Zipeng Mountain National Forest Park, a recommended check-in spot in Hefei, Anhui

Zipeng Mountain, also known as Liling Mountain and Beijiuhua Mountain, is about 18km away from Hefei city. Since the Qing Dynasty, it has been known as "the most famous mountain in Luzhou". According to folklore, the name "Zi Peng Mountain" was derived from the purple robes of monks and the first characters of the Penglai Island, which means "welcoming the purple air and heading to Penglai". ⭐️Scenic spot location No. 2, Senlin Avenue, Zipeng Town, Feixi County, Hefei City ⭐️Opening hours 08:00~17:00 ⭐️Tickets to scenic spots free ⭐️Transportation ❶ Self-driving: Navigate to "Zipengshan National Forest Park", where there is a parking lot. The first 30 minutes are free, 30 minutes to 5 hours, 10r. ❷ Public transportation: Take bus No. 80. ❸ Transportation to the scenic area: You can hike up the mountain or take the scenic shuttle bus, which costs 10r one way and 15r round trip, and can go directly to Xilu Temple. ⭐️Visit guide ❶Mountain Gate: The mountain gate is a palace-style building with three columns and four doors, majestic and grand. There is a plaque on the mountain gate: "Luyang's No. 1 Mountain" ❷Xianren Lake: natural bathing place and water park. The mountains on both sides of the lake are shaped like the feet of an immortal, hence the name "Immortal Lake". ❸Buddha Garden: The main gate of the "Buddha Garden" stele archway faces east and sits west, implying the meaning of "purple air coming from the east". There are many Buddha statues on the mountains on both sides. The Four-Faced Buddha is right here. ❹Xilu Temple: It was first built in the late Eastern Han Dynasty and was rebuilt into "Xilu Zen Temple" in the Tang Dynasty. After the Tang Dynasty, the temple was repeatedly rebuilt and destroyed due to wars. In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, monks Jingcheng, Jianrong and Tongyuan in the late Qing Dynasty each carried out a major reconstruction. ❺Three Buddhas: The one in the middle is Sakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism, also known as Tathagata Buddha. The one on the left is Amitabha Buddha from the Western Paradise, and the one on the right is Medicine Buddha from the Eastern Pure Land. ⭐️Zipeng Mountain is very suitable for hiking, and the recommended visiting time is 2-3 hours.
