Sanhe Ancient Town, formerly known as Quezhu, Quewei (zhu), and Que'an, is a famous historical and cultural town in China and a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. It is located at the southern end of Feixi County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, at the junction of Feixi, Lujiang, and Shucheng. The ancient town has a total area of 2.9 square kilometers. Transportation: 🚗 Self-driving from Hefei city center takes less than one hour. 🚌 Bus routes: 1. Take a tourist bus from Hefei Tourist Bus Station, Xinya Bus Station, or General Passenger Transport Station to Sanhe. The ticket price is CNY 18, and the journey takes about 2 hrs. 2. Take a tourist bus from Hefei Passenger Transport Center Station (next to High-speed Rail South Station) to Sanhe. The ticket price is CNY 15, and the journey takes about 1.5 hrs. 3. Take bus No. 1, 63, 117, 150, 152, 156, or 163 to Hefei South Gate Transfer Center (South Bus Station). Take a tourist bus from Hefei South Gate Transfer Center. The ticket price is CNY 15. 4. Take bus No. 699 from Shangpai Town, Feixi County (Jinxian Road Intersection, Feixi County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine 6:00–19:00; Sanhe Bus Station 6:00–19:00). Attractions/Tickets🎫: Sanhe Ancient Town is open to the public and free of charge. There are 10 small attractions inside that charge fees. They are: Dong Yinchu Memorial Hall, Liu Tongxing Longzhuang, Yang Zhenning's Former Residence, the Sanhe Great War Museum, Sun Liren's Former Residence, Helu, Daifu Mansion, Wangyue Pavilion, the Old Winery, and Guyu Workshop. 1. Eight-site package ticket: CNY 120/person (including Yang Zhenning's Former Residence, Liu Tongxing Longzhuang, Helu, Sun Liren's Former Residence, Guocui Building, Root Carving Museum, Xiangulou, and Guyu Workshop); four-site package ticket: CNY 70/person (including Yang Zhenning's Former Residence, Liu Tongxing Longzhuang, Helu, and Sun Liren's Former Residence). 2. Half-price child tickets (free for children under 1.2m; child tickets for children between 1.2 and 1.4m), half-price senior tickets (free for people over 70 years old; half-price tickets for people between 60 and 70 years old), free admission for military personnel. Student tickets are half price. Experience🍃: As a native of Huizhou, even though I am used to Huizhou architecture, Sanhe Ancient Town is still enough to refresh me. The three most memorable things for me are: 1. Willow buds and peach blossoms in spring 2. The ancient city wall of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom from the history books 3. Super fresh whitebait！！！！！ … Personal tips: ❤️ Various scenic spots are outside, but if you walk further inside, you will find residential areas, where you may truly experience the beauty of Huizhou architecture and local customs. ❤ Suitable for spring and autumn. In winter, it's bare, and in summer… one word - hot!😂 ️❤️ Don't take a boat when you enter. It's very large inside, and you'll feel tired after all the walking. So, I think it's better to take a boat when you leave.😉
