[-11 degrees Celsius • I am at the top of Europe] Fail first and then succeed! Finally climbed the Jungfraujoch!

Before setting off, we read a lot of information about Jungfraujoch and bought tickets in advance on the official website. We were eagerly looking forward to climbing Jungfraujoch, but we failed on our first try! This story begins with our first day in Interlaken... We stayed at a hotel near Interlaken Ost Station and after checking in we went around the area. The weather was pretty good at the time, but since we were leaving for Jungfrau the next morning, we returned to the hotel early to rest! Then I slept until the next day, and it was still dark when it suddenly started to rain heavily outside... I felt a little bad, but after a while the rain stopped and it felt like the weather wasn't too bad... So, we boarded the train at Interlaken Ost as planned, and then more and more people got on the train at the next stop, and no one seemed to realize that we would soon be kicked off the train! When the train arrived at Grindelwald Terminal, the ticket agent appeared. At first I thought she was just checking tickets, but later I found out that she explained to every passenger, but her English was not very good and her words were not clear enough. Everyone looked confused and didn’t understand what was going on... Then the ticket agent drove all the passengers, including us, out of the car! Later, some people began to realize that there must be a heavy snowstorm on the mountain, so the Jungfraujoch was closed that day... Some people began to discuss whether they should go to Grindelwald to apply for a refund? We were a little overwhelmed and followed the crowd to Grindelwald, hoping to learn what to do next. The staff at the Grindelwald Ticketing Center spoke relatively good English, and we finally realized that if you purchased tickets online, you have to process refunds via email! After getting up the next day, we checked the train app with trepidation and found that the train to Jungfraujoch was still suspended, which meant that we still couldn't go up the mountain... Of course, we didn't give up. We checked again after half an hour, and then checked again after breakfast, and finally found that there was hope of going up the mountain! We checked the conditions on the mountain through the live camera on the Jungfrau website, and the weather was estimated to still be bad... However, in order not to regret it, we still decided to go! After arriving at the Jungfrau, the wind and snow had not stopped yet. Under the strong wind and blizzard, it was impossible to distinguish between the sky and the snow. Everything around was white! There is a huge difference between this and the sunny photos of Jungfraujoch I saw on the Internet, but I think this alternative experience is also unforgettable! Although the weather was bad, the tourists were still in high spirits and took photos happily in the wind and snow. I believe no one will forget this moment of minus 11 degrees Celsius in a place known as the Top of Europe!
