Alba Thermal Springs and Spa, Vic, Australia

We had a wonderful relaxing time twice at Alba hot springs in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. It is about 1 hour’s drive from Melbourne. We arrived for an afternoon session on a weekday and it was fairly quiet and we had some hot pools to ourselves all afternoon. For our second visit, we opted for a night owl session and arrived about 5.15pm and the crowd was just nice till about 7pm when more visitors turned up for the lovely sunset. Nestled among waving grasses and indigenous flora, there are more than thirty pools to discover and enjoy. From the warm mineral waters of geothermal pools to the invigorating rain pool and the tranquillity of botanical pools, you can immerse yourself in a unique healthy relaxing bathing experience. This is a luxurious 5 star new establishment, with a lovely restaurant and good food and they even supply Dyson hair dryers in their bathroom! Highly recommended when you visit Melbourne, Australia for an unforgettable calming experience. The springs are open from 7.00am until 10.00pm and they accept last arrival at 8.30pm.
