(Normally, they sell mostly hard bread.) It was definitely Bagel Day, so customers were constantly coming in and freshly made bread was always on display. Among the many bagels, the most popular was the Mentai (spicy roe) bagel. I tried it out of curiosity, and the bagel itself was chewy and the salty flavor of the mentai made it so delicious that I couldn’t stop by.
