Gwittaegicheongbong at Seoraksan Was Wild

#summervacay Okay, Gwittaegicheongbong is not your average hike. Tucked in the Seoraksan range near Hangye-ri, this one seriously kicked my legs into gear. It’s not as famous as Daecheongbong, but dang, the trail to Gwittaegicheongbong still delivers big time. Think endless stairs, rugged ridgelines, and those misty pine forests that feel straight out of a K-drama. The weather kept changing every 15 minutes, foggy one second, then suddenly boom, jaw-dropping panoramic views. I passed maybe 5 people the whole day, so it felt like I had the mountain to myself. Total peace and pine-scented air. The summit? Rocky and exposed, with this 360° view that made every ounce of sweat worth it. Also, major bonus points for the random little shelters along the way to rest. Bring snacks, layers, and a good attitude 'cause it’s a grind, but trust me, you'll leave feeling like a forest warrior. Seoraksan never disappoints, and this hidden gem totally proved it.
