Genting Highlands—where cool air, theme park thrills, and shopping therapy meet! Our trip was packed with fun, food, and breathtaking views. Here’s how it went down: Getting There: Bus & Cable Car Adventure We started our journey from KL, taking a bus up to the Awana Bus Terminal. From there, we hopped onto the Awana Skyway cable car, giving us a stunning bird’s-eye view of the rainforest below. The ride was smooth, and we even got to see the Chin Swee Temple from above before visiting it later! First Stop: SkyAvenue – Food & Shopping Once we arrived at SkyAvenue, we explored the massive shopping mall filled with restaurants, cafes, and retail stores. The cool mountain air made everything feel extra cozy. For lunch, we dined at one of the many eateries inside SkyAvenue—plenty of options, whether you’re into local delights or international cuisine. Thrills at SkyWorlds & Skytropolis Next, it was time for some fun! 🎢 SkyWorlds Theme Park – We explored the outdoor theme park, home to exciting rides and immersive attractions. Definitely a must-visit for adrenaline junkies! 🎡 Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park – A perfect spot for some indoor fun, packed with carnival-style games and rides for all ages. Chin Swee Temple: A Peaceful Escape After all the excitement, we made a quick stop at Chin Swee Temple, located halfway down the mountain. The temple’s intricate architecture and breathtaking views were worth the visit. A peaceful contrast to the buzz of Genting! Genting Premium Outlets (GPO) – Shopping Time! Before heading back, we stopped by Genting Premium Outlets (GPO) to hunt for discounts on branded goods. The open-air outlet mall had a great selection of international and local brands, plus the weather made walking around super comfortable. Heading Back to KL With our shopping bags (and tired legs), we took the bus back to KL, wrapping up a fun-filled day at Genting Highlands.
