Genting Skyworlds Theme Park

#gentingtrip The park is generally very well-themed and offers attractions based on great brands and movies. However, it has two major issues: 1. The Location. Getting there is complicated, especially when, as in our case, the cable car service is unexpectedly out of operation. Additionally, the climate up on the mountain is so unpleasant and unpredictable that visiting the park becomes far less enjoyable. It was extremely cold throughout the day, and the thick fog sometimes made it impossible to even see where you were walking. 2. The Maintenance. During our visit, there was hardly an attraction that wasn't temporarily closed due to technical problems (or the weather). It's a gamble when attractions will open and how long they will remain operational before breaking down again. In the first hour after the park opened, very few attractions were running because the technical team was still fixing the issues from the night before. Several rides didn't operate at all during our visit, which is especially disappointing considering the park isn't particularly large to begin with. All in all, while the park offers great attractions and excellent theming, the countless technical problems make it hardly worth the long and tedious journey.
