The cheese cat that greeted me with a “meow~” in front of my lodge when I checked in is called “Bintang”, which is the same name as the guesthouse. When I asked the host, he said he is the boss. 🤣 He is a very cute friend who sneaks in when the door is open, takes a nap, and becomes the only traveler’s roommate! (The other cat, Tiger, is already monopolizing another room, so it was hard to see his face.) This small and natural guesthouse with only 3 lodges, only 3 groups can stay per day, is so popular that it is hard to make a reservation if you don’t make a reservation early. In this expensive island, there are not many clean accommodations at this price that are good for a solo stay. Of course, the beds are big, so it is okay for two people to stay. Even though I often opened the door, I never saw bugs or mosquitoes because the mosquito repellent on the wall was sprayed every hour. When you come in from playing at the beach, your feet are full of sand and the salt makes you feel uncomfortable, but there is an outdoor shower where you can wash off before entering the room.
