This is a pension I found while traveling with my cousin by chance! I thought Gochang itself was surrounded by nature and green, but when I saw the pension, it was on a hill so I thought it looked like the Alps with melted snow!! I've always wanted to go to a lavender farm, but I couldn't bring myself to go because it was too far! But there was a pretty lavender farm in nearby Gochang so I ran over there right away :) The place I visited was Gochang Cheongnongwon 💜 The entrance fee was cheap at 3,000 won, and the parking lot was large and well-maintained, so I had a good time And it was bigger than I thought, so I was surprised! Actually, I thought it would be small and focused on the photo zone, but the lavender was full all the way up there. It was so big that I only took pictures from the bottom. 👍 There was also a large cafe at the entrance to the lavender field, and it looked clean like a newly built building. #summervacay So, Seonunsan Mountain? Total hidden gem. We rolled up without huge expectations and left totally obsessed. The trails are super manageable, some a bit steep, but nothing crazy, and the views are 100% worth it. You get this killer mix of forest paths, rocky viewpoints, and even some random ancient temples tucked into the mountain like a scene from a movie. There’s this one temple, Seonunsa, near the base that’s peaceful AF. Even if you're not into temples, the vibe there is just calming. The sound of wind in the trees? Chef’s kiss. What’s cool is you don’t need to be some hardcore hiker to enjoy it. We took plenty of snack breaks and still felt like we accomplished something. Oh, and if you’re into fall colors, this place slaps in autumn. Bring comfy shoes, good vibes, and maybe some kimbap. Seonunsan isn’t loud or flashy, but it’s the kind of place that totally surprises you, in the best way.

The atmosphere is different when the clouds and sunlight come in, but it's so pretty I think it was so nice when I went with my parents!!! If you're planning a trip to Jeolla-do, I recommend you visit Cheongbori Field!!!! Take in the scenery with your eyes rather than photos!!
