It was a great trip to show my appreciation for my parents, with a plan that allowed us to enjoy both nature and the city at our leisure. It's recommended for seniors as well, as there are many spots where you can enjoy sightseeing at your own pace, and it's easy to get around. The beauty of Green Island in particular was overwhelming, and we could have enjoyed it even without snorkeling. The town was small and easy to walk around, making it a great first trip abroad. We were blessed with good weather, and another memory for our family was added. Thank you, Cairns! Day 1 We left late at night the day before and arrived in Cairns early the next morning. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel to drop off our luggage. We still had time, so we went to a nearby cafe.
