Sanxingdui's otherworldly language

There are government-organized buses right below the panda statue on Chunxi Road. It's currently the off-season, so you can buy tickets when you arrive. There's a QR code right next to the bus for purchasing. The journey takes about an hour and costs CNY 25. There are buses for both directions. Taking a taxi takes about the same time, but it's more expensive, so we recommend taking the direct bus. Every single exhibit is incredibly exquisite. Although there are only a little over 1,000 exhibits in total, they are so intricate and unique that they are not to be missed. The museums in Chengdu are relatively spread out. On average, you'll need about two hours for each museum, or two and a half hours if you take your time.
