I probably walked too much while shopping. My feet were sore today😥, so I decided not to take the subway or bus and traveled around Guangzhou. In the business district of Xiguan Old Street (also called Yongqingfang), you can see Go to the ancient Cantonese buildings in the old city of Guangzhou, and there are also many Cantonese delicacies, tea, sweets, and interesting and creative coffee shops. It is really good 😉 I once opened a shop with my partner in Tianhe Dongpu, and I am no stranger to Guangzhou living there. The bustling Haizhu Square, Canton Tower, and the banks of the Pearl River are less visited here in Liwan. Take the train to Guangzhou East Railway Station. Line 1 can be reached directly in 20 minutes, but the high-speed rail station Guangzhou South Station is quite far away🚄 The Guangfo Line from Foshan is also very close🚊 The backpacker hostel we stayed at that night was located in Liwan Lake Park. I dragged my luggage up and down the park to find it, and I was among the people playing badminton. It was located upstairs in a bookstore, and there was a Pub bar next to it. I stayed there. Every experience is different and very special😃 Looking back at the past, when a Taiwanese boy came to Guangzhou, an ice house (Xiguan Shunji Ice House) could evoke the memory of 6 years ago. It was not easy. On June 29, 2017, he visited Guangzhou for the first time at the age of 24. Memories of Xiguan and Yongqingfang just come flooding back. It’s already 30 years since I visited again.
