#Dawan District Must-visit Check-in Spots The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall located on Dongfeng Middle Road in Guangzhou is a classic landmark building in the city. It was built by Guangzhou citizens and overseas Chinese to commemorate Mr. Sun Yat-sen. The memorial hall is octagonal in shape, with its roof made entirely of blue glazed tiles. Its architectural style is similar to that of the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanjing. The plaque on the front is inscribed with "The World Belongs to All" by Sun Yat-sen, and a bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen stands in the center in front of the memorial hall. The memorial hall is now a concert hall and the public must purchase tickets to enter. ⚠️Note: Starting from July 20, 2023, the exterior wall of the Memorial Hall will be repaired. It will take 200 days and will be completed around February 2024.
