A day trip to Conghua, Guangzhou, is incredibly beautiful

Picking persimmons, admiring the scenery, and camping by the lake make for a wonderful weekend! The whole route is quite niche, perfect for relaxation, and it's a great way to explore the area around Guangzhou and Foshan! 🐟Lunch: Jin Yi Wei Farmhouse This place has a great environment with a courtyard feel. There's a stream running through the restaurant, with geese floating on the water and duck-billed fish swimming around. The four of us ordered a duck-billed fish in two flavors, black bean and chopped pepper, which was quite good. We also had perilla stir-fried snails and stir-fried buckwheat, both of which are local specialties. The bill came to 280 yuan. 🍅Afternoon: Shang Luo Village Persimmon Garden We did our homework in advance and chose Cai Cai Persimmon Garden. The villagers along the way were very simple and enthusiastic. It costs 10 yuan per person to take photos in the persimmon garden, but you can't pick the persimmons. The owner says that if you pick them, they won't look good in photos. Persimmons are 3 yuan per jin, and they even gave us a small basket. On November 19, the trees were full of persimmons, which looked great! 🏕️Evening: Camping in Xiao Song Village (1.5 hours drive from Shang Luo Village) This place is incredibly beautiful! It's perfect for camping! The lake is very clear, with blue skies and white clouds, and a sky full of stars at night. 🅿️Navigate to: Xiao Song Village, park opposite the Village History Museum, 5 yuan per hour, capped at 20 yuan. The bathroom is inside the Village History Museum. Go down the stairs next to the parking lot, turn left and walk a few steps, pass through the bamboo forest on the right, and you'll reach the lakeside camping site. We brought a cassette stove to barbecue, and there was a group of people with handheld fireworks that day! We listened to music, ate barbecue, and watched fireworks, which was super romantic! ‼️Note‼️ 1️⃣Set up camp on high ground, don't get close to the lake, the water level will slowly rise! 2️⃣It's not recommended to stay overnight, as there are few people around and the safety factor is not high! 3️⃣Remember not to throw anything into the lake, and take your trash with you when you leave! There are trash cans outside the bamboo forest. 💯Overall, Xiao Song Village is really worth it! If you're in a hurry, you can skip other places and head straight to Xiao Song Village, it's super comfortable to stay for an afternoon!
