The Nanyue King Museum Palace Exhibition Area is on the east side. Reminder: This is the Palace Exhibition Area, not the Tomb Exhibition Area! Scan the code at the west gate or show your ID to get a ticket and enter the exhibition. As soon as you enter the exhibition area, it looks like a large garden with vast lawns and flower beds, so beautiful! The exhibition area is divided into several parts: the Exhibition Building, the Ancient Well Pavilion, the Nanyue Palace Garden Pavilion, and the Southern Han Palace Pavilion. First, enter the Exhibition Building, which has three floors. It displays the Nanyue Kingdom Palace Garden, the Southern Han Kingdom Palace, and wells, mainly reflecting the historical process of the Lingnan central area over two thousand years. Using pictures, maps, models, and unearthed bricks, tiles, stones, wooden slips, and pottery, it unveils the long-sealed Nanyue Kingdom. You can truly feel the wisdom and ingenuity of the working people more than two thousand years ago! The Ancient Well Pavilion is temporarily closed. Walk along the display wall of brick and ceramic specimens from various dynasties to the site of the No. 1 Palace of the Nanyue Kingdom. Walk through the corridor to the Nanyue Palace Garden Pavilion. Here, the remains of the winding stone canal are displayed, which is the earliest and best-preserved example of a Chinese palace garden discovered so far. If you are tired, you can order a cup of jasmine milk tea here, which tastes quite good, worthy of a place that loves tea! The last place to visit is the Southern Han Palace Pavilion, which is the entire palace site from the Southern Han period. It introduces the positions of corridors, courtyards, etc., allowing you to feel the luxury and grandeur of the palace at that time. The entire museum is very large, and it is estimated that it will take about two hours to visit all of it. It is a good cultural window to experience the humanistic Bay Area.
