Guangzhou Indigo, the 'one island one hotel' in the CBD

A hotel under IHG, I have always favored Indigo. There are thousands of beautiful hotels, but there is definitely one called Indigo. Each one is unique and fully explores the local culture. After staying at Haixinsha Indigo, I believe this even more. Location Haixinsha Indigo is located on Haixinsha Island in the middle of the Pearl River, with the Canton Tower to the south and the core area of Zhujiang New Town to the north, making it a prime spot in Guangzhou's CBD. Whether at the rooftop bar, the outdoor lawn, or sitting in the room basking in the sun, the Canton Tower serves as the backdrop. Rooms The hotel is renovated from an old building, so the overall spatial layout is fixed and difficult to change. There are over 100 rooms, and the designer managed to create 17 different room types. We stayed in a deluxe boutique room, where the doorbell is hidden in a vinyl record, and the room number is designed as musical notes. The first round of minibar is free, offering sparkling wine, New Zealand mineral water, and even nostalgic Guangdong drinks: orange soda and Asian sarsaparilla. The bathroom amenities are from Australia's Appelles. Restaurant There is only one main restaurant: Hai-Neighborhood Restaurant. All three meals are enjoyed here, located in the main building where the lobby is. The walls are adorned with elegant flower and bird paintings, the seats are covered with large red floral cloth, and the tables are set with colorful glass cups, combining to create an old-fashioned elegance.
