Don't be fooled by the name! This museum is actually more fun than you think

There is a very niche museum in Baiyun called the DSPPA Audio Museum. Just looking at the name, many people, like me, probably think that this museum only displays audio equipment and popular science exhibitions, which is why I have never been able to go in for a visit. But when I actually walked in, I found that it was very different from what I had imagined! Rather than saying it is a sound museum, it is more like an exhibition hall with all kinds of folk collections! Anyone who has visited the Shisanhang Museum has probably seen the names of Mr. and Mrs. Wang Heng and Feng Jie in the donor column. Mr. Wang Heng is actually the chairman of DSPPA Technology Co., Ltd., a well-known local enterprise in Guangzhou, and the DSPPA Museum was also built at his huge expense. This special museum is located in DSPPA Science and Technology Park. At the entrance is an exquisite small garden. If you look carefully, you will see a stone tablet of "Imperial Edict" inside. The museum area is located on the top floor of the building and is currently divided into the Phase I Audio Museum and the Phase II Image History Museum. One of the highlights of the DSPP Museum is the ancient academy building that was transplanted from Anhui. It is said that Mr. Wang once learned that an ancient academy in Anhui was going to be demolished for road construction, so he bought it at a large expense. When the building was dismantled, each brick and each piece of wood was given a number, and then transported to Guangzhou and restored faithfully. It was a huge project. Today, the entire academy serves as the first-floor exhibition space of the audio museum, incorporating various high-tech display technologies to achieve a creative dialogue between the past and the present. P.S. DSPPA Audio Museum is open to the public free of charge. The opening hours are from Monday to Saturday, 8:30-12:00 in the morning and 13:30-18:00 in the afternoon. (11:30-13:30, no admission after 17:00); closed on Sundays. On normal opening days, free Chinese tour guide services are provided at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m., and 14:00 and 15:30 p.m. every day.
