Shuisheng Reservoir, a cycling experience

The Shuisheng Reservoir is located in Luogang Street, Huangpu District, Guangzhou City. The reservoir is embedded in the mountainside of Lingtou, and looks like an emerald from an aerial view. The mountains here are uneven and undulating, the water surface is wide and tranquil, and there are hotels built along the water around the reservoir, forming a unique mountain style. The reservoir is surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air, it is simply a natural oxygen bar. The roads on both sides of the reservoir are lined with green trees, and there are plants such as loquat, white-flowered trumpet tree, and green bamboo along the way. There is a hiking and fitness trail around the reservoir, which is about 5 kilometers long and usually takes 1.5-2 hours to complete. Although this place is relatively remote, the transportation is still quite convenient. In addition to driving, you can also take Metro Line 21 or a bus and exit at Exit B1 of Changping Station, or take a bus and then transfer to Huangpu Tram Line 1 to Lingtou East Station, and then walk for about 15 minutes to arrive. I just got off at Changping Metro Station, transferred to Huangpu Tram Line 1, got off at Lingtou East, and then walked there. On the way, I saw shared bicycles, so I temporarily changed my plan from walking to cycling. Starting from Junlan Hotel, I could go around either side. I rode counterclockwise. This road is relatively flat and suitable for hiking, running and cycling. It is indeed an ideal place for parent-child outings.
