Guangzhou | Pointage, a vintage French bakery, feels like a slice of Paris.

#gzonbudget I’ve walked past Pointage so many times but never actually bought anything—until now, haha. This time, I happened to pass by with my grandma, so we decided to sit down for a bit. The matcha lava puff tart was absolutely amazing! The matcha filling was super molten and rich, and the outer pastry was incredibly crisp and buttery. The matcha wasn’t too sweet either—just pure, intense flavor. Totally obsessed! 😍😍😍 Then there was the puff pastry pretzel—savory and lightly crisp. The pastry was the softer kind, not as crunchy as the matcha tart, but still delicious. It had that classic pretzel saltiness, which I absolutely love. I can never resist anything pretzel-y 😂 Next was the coffee cream cheese chestnut bagel—OMG, it looked stunning! Since it’s filled with cream cheese, the texture wasn’t overly chewy, so your jaw won’t get a workout 😄 It was packed with chunks of soft, powdery chestnut, and the coffee flavor was subtle and fragrant. We also had two drinks—my Americano was rich and bold with a deep chocolatey aroma. I’m obsessed with dark roast beans! My grandma had the grape soda, which was super refreshing—totally a summer must-have! Hahaha 🫧
