Piedra del Peñol is a popular spot that can be visited on a day trip from Medellin, Colombia. It is a huge granite monolith formed about 70 million years ago, and is also known locally as "Devil's Rock" due to its strange presence. There are zigzag stairs on the side of the rock, and it takes about 700 steps to reach the top.
