Guihai Qinglan

Experience nature on a vast lawn surrounded by mountain peaks. The attractions in Guilin city are relatively few, such as Elephant Trunk Hill, East-West Alley, and Sun and Moon Twin Towers, which can all be visited within a day. Therefore, on the second day, I planned a trip to the newly popular scenic spot, Guihai Qinglan. Guihai Qinglan is located in Qixing District, a bit far from the city center, so I chose to take a taxi to get there. The entrance fee is 💰25 per person. I arrived around 4 PM when the sunlight was softer. The scenic area features a visitor center, a hot air balloon base, a camping site, a lake, and more. It is very spacious and surrounded by mountains of various sizes. There is a large green lawn here, perfect for picnics, kite flying, sketching, and spring outings. Occasionally, black swans can be seen in the lake, though I didn’t spot any during my visit. The area is quite large, and 2-3 hours is sufficient to explore.
