[Guilin City/Elephant Mountain] Enjoy both the scenic area and the downtown area

The Lijiang River once splits into east and west in Guilin, then reunites, and in the middle of the river is an island measuring 2km x 5km, centered around Duxiufeng Wangcheng, which acts as a natural fortress. The river, lake, and island are called the Liangjiang and Sihu, and are now a bustling downtown area, bustling with many young people at night. At the very south of the island is the Xiangshan Scenic Area, where Water Moon Hall is a large hole in the rock that looks like an elephant drinking water with its trunk. This can be seen from Ai Zhong Island on the opposite bank, where there are several monuments themed on love, which is what it is named after. From Ai Zhong Island, you can see the elephant (Water Moon Hall) up close and another large elephant in the distance, which can be confusing as to which is the real one. Once you land on Xiangshan Island, you can't see the elephant because it's too close, but at the top of the mountain is the Fu Xian Tower, built in the Ming Dynasty, so make an effort to climb it. From the top, you can see views of all over the city. Although it is a little far from the Xiangshan Scenic Area, the Sun Tower and Moon Tower at nearby Shanhu are lit up in gold and silver at night, and the contrast between the two towers is very beautiful.
