Touring Longhu Mountain

Longhu Mountain is the eighth World Natural Heritage site in China, a World Geopark, a national natural and cultural dual heritage site, and a national 5A-level scenic spot. Longhu Mountain is a typical Danxia landform in China. Longhu Mountain, originally named Yunjin Mountain, was where Zhang Tianshi practiced alchemy in the middle of the Eastern Han Dynasty. 'When the alchemy was successful, the dragon and tiger appeared, and the mountain was named after it.' Therefore, Longhu Mountain has also become the birthplace of Taoism in China, and it is a unique and beautiful mountain in the south of the Yangtze River. The peaks stretch for dozens of miles, the mountain looks like a dragon, like a tiger, the dragon and the tiger fight for supremacy, and they do not give in to each other; Shangqing Creek floats in from a long distance to the east, walks slowly along the mountain, turns around the mountain, like a small rest, like a love scene, the beach is white, the pool is green, or speaks softly, or meditates quietly. The peaks and rocks take the utmost softness of the water, the stream that turns around the mountain, absorbs the yang of the dragon, the mountain is red and the water is green, and it is full of spirituality. It is recommended to walk on the plank road from the beginning, go forward, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, touch the peaks and rocks, and then take a bamboo raft. The scenic spot ticket is valid for two days. There are shuttle buses from the city train station to the entrance of the scenic spot.
