After shopping, I wanted to eat some barbecue, so I found a restaurant near the hotel. It was doing good business, but the food was not tasty. I must have found the wrong place. On the way, I came across a small shop selling egg-wrapped potatoes. I saw a lot of takeout orders, so I bought one to try so I don’t have to queue up at Minsheng Street tomorrow. It received unanimous praise. The next morning, I had a bowl of Huaxi beef noodles to try all the flavors. The one with clear soup was the best. I also had a broken crispy bun, which was neither good nor bad. After eating at the Guizhou Provincial Museum, I felt it was okay, but I saw online and the taxi driver said that the Geological Museum was more interesting. Check in at Minsheng Street and Zhengxing Street in the afternoon. The queue to get off the bus is so long that it's a must-try since you're here. Seabuckthorn juice, glutinous rice, cracked rice cake, dried tofu, roasted pepper preserved eggs, freshly fried potato chips, tofu fruit, Xiaoping spicy vegetarian noodles, fried small intestines, roasted eggs, Yu Niang potato cake, and star anise ice syrup. I don’t know if it’s because I spent so much time looking for it and it’s an internet celebrity, but my husband criticized it as worthless. While I was queuing, my sister went to the school gate and bought one sold by an old couple. After comparing, it turned out that Yu Niang's was a high-end version. I quite like the ice slurry, it tastes great mixed with glutinous rice. We checked in at Jiaxiu Tower in the evening. There were so many people that we got off the bus and everyone took a photo to count as a successful check-in. Then we went to Qingyun Market, which was ordinary but lively. For dinner, we had bean and rice hotpot. I wanted to order Tufeng but ended up ordering the wrong one and got Tujia-style bean and rice hotpot. If you are tired and have a crooked mouth, just sit down and eat. The rich bean soup is delicious when cooked with vegetables, and the thick soup is delicious when soaked with rice. On the third day, I slept until I woke up naturally and went straight to Dapang Liu Laoguo. I ordered a set meal and wanted to order aliquots, but the boss said it was enough and it would be a waste if I ordered more. This impressed me a lot. It tasted good, and the dipping sauce I prepared was especially delicious. This meal received unanimous praise. Considering that my husband said that the bunch of internet-famous snacks on Minsheng Street were bad the day before, he complained a lot about me queuing up at this store before coming here. In the end, he ate more than anyone else. Overall the meal was pretty good this time. The taste was not much different from the food we eat in Sichuan. I haven’t tried the duoduo noodles, teppanyaki, and the barbecue recommended by the taxi driver yet, so I’ll save some for next time.
