A Day at Tongdosa

#summervacay So, I finally made it to Tongdosa Temple, and wow, why didn’t anyone tell me it’s basically a calm, spiritual wonderland? This place is all about the vibes. No giant Buddha statues out front like most temples, because the real treasure is a relic inside. Kinda cool, right? The walk up to the temple is super peaceful, tall trees, little bridges, and that quiet kind of calm that makes you forget your phone exists. It’s not flashy, but it *feels* important, like the air has history in it or something. There’s a bunch of smaller temple buildings to wander through, each with its own charm. Monks were doing their thing, birds were chirping, it was like stepping into another world. Oh, and the sound of the wooden fish drum? Weirdly soothing. Honestly, even if you’re not super into temples, Tongdosa has a way of just pulling you in. 10/10 would stroll again, preferably with a coffee and no schedule.
