Haian Station

This is a high-speed rail station in Hai'an, Jiangsu Province. There is a surprisingly large plaza in front of the station, and nothing else in particular. Unlike other high-speed rail stations, the boarding and disembarking areas are not separated by floor, but rather the ticket gates are on the first floor for both (there are separate buildings for boarding and disembarking). There are only convenience stores and souvenir shops inside the station, so you will have to eat in the city beforehand or use the on-board sales. There is a ground-level platform and an elevated platform for high-speed rail trains, and it is quite a distance from the ticket gate on the ground level to the elevated platform. You will need to cross the adjacent freight station and go over a footbridge, so it is best to get there early.
