Jin Yong Academy, Haining, Zhejiang

Jin Yong Academy in Yanguan was planned and built by the Haining Municipal Government in 2008, with the support of Mr. Jin Yong. The academy was completed and opened to the public on September 22, 2010. Jin Yong Academy covers an area of 4,385 square meters. Its architectural style is based on the design of the famous Anlan Academy in the Qing Dynasty, incorporating the characteristics of traditional classical gardens. The academy has three main functions: teaching, exhibition, and book collection. The main spaces include a lecture hall, a water courtyard, and a library. The interior decoration of the academy is rich, displaying all of Mr. Jin Yong's martial arts works and collecting a large amount of related research materials. The academy not only showcases Jin Yong's academic achievements but also becomes an important place for Jin Yong's literary research. The academy also houses many precious relics of Jin Yong, such as manuscripts and accessories, attracting many Jin Yong fans to visit. During the Tide Watching Festival, single tickets are not sold at the academy, and visitors need to enter with a scenic spot combo ticket, ancient city combo ticket, etc.
