#travelinginchina Beijing, once Beiping, has long fascinated me. My recent trip there was full of amazing experiences. Day 1 I got up before dawn for the flag - raising at Tiananmen Square. The moment was so proud - inspiring. Then I visited the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and the National Museum of China. In the evening, I walked on Qianmen Street and ate Zhajiangmian. Day 2 The Palace Museum's grand halls and red - walls amazed me. After leaving from Shenwu Gate, I climbed Jingshan Park for a great view. At night, Nanluoguxiang's lively hutongs with shops and snacks were a treat. Day 3 I fulfilled my dream of visiting Badaling Great Wall. It was spectacular. In the afternoon, the modern Bird's Nest and Water Cube at the Olympic Green were a cool contrast. Food Peking duck is a must - try, with its crispy skin and tender meat. Douzhi with Jiaoquan is unique, and sweet Wandonghuang and soft Aiwowo from Huguo Temple Snacks are delicious.
