At first, I thought about going to see a lake in Switzerland, but I thought that if I was going to Austria, it would be best to take a day trip by train to Hallstatt. It was an individual trip, not a tour. There was only one direct train per day, so I was a little worried, but the excitement and sense of adventure won out. It took about three and a half hours to arrive at the station from Vienna station, and from there we took a boat to the opposite shore. You need to hand over cash when boarding, and it is a round-trip ticket, so be careful not to lose it. I had about four to five hours until the return train, so I was able to take a leisurely stroll around the small town. The meaning of going on a trip is, of course, to actually see the scenery with your own eyes, but I think the best part is enjoying it with all five senses, such as feeling the air on your skin and tasting delicious food. Hallstatt in person was even more amazing than I had imagined it from pictures...! The scenery was so amazing that it changed my outlook on life. The first thing I thought was that I wanted my family to experience this amazing scenery, not just me. As I've said many times before, it was truly amazing. The water was clear and the breeze was pleasant. As I was walking around enjoying the contrast of green and blue, I encountered swans and cats. If you get hungry, you can eat delicious Viennese cuisine, and if you get tired, you can take a break by the lake. It's soothing.
