I went in early July and the lotus flowers were not in full bloom yet, but the flower buds themselves were beautiful, so I was happy to see them. In particular, if you cross the Danqiao Zan Xue Bridge and go to Gushan Park (孤山公园), you can see a wide lotus field. It is on a continental scale, so you have to walk a lot in the hot sun, but the scenery is so beautiful that it is not difficult.
