Tucked away in the airport terminal, the luxurious Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport Grand Hyatt Hotel

As a traveler, flying in and out is inevitable, and ensuring comfort during the journey is essential. Therefore, when I encounter early morning or late night flights, I prefer to find a hotel near the airport to rest for the night. Compared to those hotels that require leaving the airport and taking a taxi for several kilometers, a hotel directly inside the terminal building is undoubtedly more convenient and allows me to get a good rest before setting off. The newly opened Grand Hyatt Hotel at Hangzhou Airport, located inside the Xiaoshan Airport T4 terminal, is undoubtedly the best and most cost-effective among them. As a high-end Hyatt hotel, the current price is even only 400 per night, with the added bonus of a suite upgrade and a powerful lounge, it's really very comfortable. Before check-in, the hotel will call to inquire about requirements and arrival time, and according to my needs, they prepared the highest floor suite with the best view, and had a rich welcome gift with a little airplane toy and red wine with strawberries ready, which is quite generous. The suite should be over 80 square meters, located in the middle of the entire building, with a regular layout, and the windows overlook the terminal, apron, and aircraft taking off and landing. Some say the view at the Hyatt is not as good as the one across at Jiaxuan, but I think this room has a better view than Jiaxuan's. The interior of the suite is decorated in the Hyatt brand's signature light-colored wooden line homey style. Upon entering, there is an openwork screen that effectively ensures the privacy of the living room. On the right hand side is a guest bathroom, but the dressing room is not connected and is accessed from the bedroom. The living room is very spacious, with a guest area consisting of an L-shaped five-person sofa, a flat sofa that can be used as a single bed, and an American-style tiger stool, plus black and white coffee tables that are both aesthetic and practical, and can accommodate two more people to sleep without a problem. By the window is a separate cabinet mini-bar and an office desk that doubles as a dining table. Although it is a round table, it is large enough and feels good. On the mini-bar side, there is free Farmer's water, a capsule coffee machine with 4 capsules, 4 Chuan Ning tea bags, and Chinese tea sets, while the mini-fridge is charged. The bedroom space is not inferior to the living room, with a bed-end stool, an L-shaped sofa group by the window with a coffee table, an independent large dressing table, a 65-inch Samsung color TV that can be screen-casted, which is comfortable for watching movies, and the bedding is also very powerful. There is a turndown service, but the completion is quite low, only bedside water was placed, and the trash was emptied, used tea bags and the like were not replenished, but at this price point, it's still Hyatt, so it's not good to ask for too much. Further inside is an independent dressing room, the luggage rack is very spacious which I like, and can fit 2 24-inch suitcases. The master bathroom has double sinks, using Duravit, while the guest bathroom is PG, as is the bathtub, which feels good. The faucets are all Toto, but the quality feels quite good, probably a high-end series. As for Toto's shower, it's always been mediocre, although it has button controls, but the experience is average. However, the shower has a footrest, wall-mounted amenities, and a non-Dyson hairdryer. It's a pity that although both the master and guest bathroom toilets are Toto, neither is automatic, which is also a regrettable aspect of the room's hardware. But overall, the decoration has a strong sense of home, and the living experience is also comfortable.
