Great breakfast experience at Hangzhou Airport Grand Hyatt Hotel

The breakfast at Hangzhou Airport Grand Hyatt is much better than the nearby Jiaxuan, and it's quite impressive even among all the Grand Hyatt hotels in China. The most important thing is that there are not too many people, which makes the dining experience very comfortable. There are 4 kinds of fresh juices, 8 kinds of fruits, and the toppings at the noodle and porridge station include meat sauce, pickled vegetable with shredded pork, and lion's head meatballs. The meat sauce is quite tasty when mixed with less soup for the Sichuan noodles. The small wontons are generously filled, served with freshly made egg strips, and topped with dried shrimp, seaweed, and green onions, making for a very rich soup base. The hot Chinese dish station doesn't have a wide variety, but it highlights local specialties, such as pickled vegetable with glutinous rice cakes, mushrooms with braised tofu, braised gluten with soy sauce, and blanched choy sum, focusing on a light and healthy diet. The Western cold cuts include quality smoked salmon. The best part is the bakery station. The Chinese bakery offers char siu pastry, radish pastry, siu mai, handmade meat buns, and jianbing guozi. The Western bakery features waffles served with whipped cream and homemade chunky fruit jam, which are both visually appealing and delicious. The puff pastry selection, led by the almond croissant, is also quite excellent, delivering satisfaction with every bite, and is accompanied by honeycomb honey. Overall, it's a very good breakfast. The service is slightly lacking, as there was no beverage service provided.
