What is the origin of the poetic Qiu Shui Villa?

Beishan Street represents half of the history of Hangzhou during the Republic of China. Qiu Shui Villa is located on this ancient street full of Hangzhou’s cultural history, just a few steps away from the West Lake. It was built in 1932 and witnessed the love between Shi Liangcai, general manager of Shen Bao, and his wife Shen Qiu Shui. Its architectural and historical value is immeasurable. The overall architectural style is a fusion of Chinese and Western styles, and was built in imitation of the layout of the Yihong Courtyard in "A Dream of Red Mansions".
