A Divine Hotel Getaway with Friends: Hangzhou Edition! Absolutely Stunning!

Lin'an Marriott Hotel Review | A Great Place for a Family Vacation I took my kids for a weekend escape from the city and chose the Lin'an Marriott Hotel. The overall experience was fantastic, and I wanted to share it with everyone. Location and Transportation 📍The hotel is only a ten-minute drive from Qingshan Lake and about a 40-minute drive from Hangzhou. There's also a small shopping area nearby, making it very convenient for both travel and shopping. If you plan to visit Qingshan Lake, this is the perfect place to stay. Room Type and Layout 🏘️️️During check-in, the front desk staff very kindly upgraded us to a 100-square-meter suite. It had two bathrooms and a large bathtub, offering ample space and a reasonable layout, making it very comfortable for a family. The room was clean and tidy, with a simple and elegant decor, providing a truly satisfying stay. Amenities and Facilities 🛌The hotel's hardware facilities are top-notch, and the heating in the room was excellent. Although the strong heating made the air a bit dry, after requesting a humidifier from the front desk, it was promptly delivered. The service was very efficient. However, it's worth noting that the hotel doesn't provide children's toothpaste, so parents traveling with children should remember to bring their own. Fortunately, children's bathrobes and slippers are provided, which is a nice touch. The hotel also has a wide range of leisure and entertainment facilities, including swimming pools for both children and adults, as well as a billiard room, table tennis room, and chess and card room. The only downside is that the pool water temperature is 28 degrees in winter, which is a bit cool. The experience would be better in spring or autumn. There's also a large children's play area in the hotel. When we went on the weekend, there were very few people, so it practically became my son's private playground. He had a great time, and I could relax. Soundproofing and Cleanliness 🧹The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. We could barely hear any noise from outside, ensuring a good night's sleep. The cleanliness was also impeccable. The rooms were spotless, and the public areas were also very clean, making for a very comfortable stay. Dining Experience 🍷The Executive Lounge is on the 15th floor and offers a quiet environment. The Happy Hour dinner had a variety of delicious dishes, including curried chicken, duck stewed with bamboo shoots, beef with red wine, two green vegetable dishes, some pastries, and very sweet fruit. I highly recommend their tomato and egg soup, which was incredibly flavorful and unforgettable. 🍽️The breakfast selection, while not as extensive as some larger star-rated hotels, offered all the basics and was very good value for money. Other Tips 💗Parking is free with a scan of a QR code at the front desk, but remember to exit within 20 minutes of scanning. If you plan to bring children, remember to bring your own children's toothpaste. Overall, the Lin'an Marriott Hotel is a great place for a weekend getaway with children. The service is attentive, the facilities are complete, and there are plenty of entertainment options. I would definitely choose to bring my kids here again.
